In an exclusive interview from the Buildtree booth at the Non Fungible Conference 2025 in Lisbon, Rizzle discussed his latest, refreshingly lighthearted NFT project created in collaboration with artist Barbie SA. Rizzle, who is enjoying the conference as one of his favorites for its strong community vibe, launched a collection based on a series of memes that Barbie SA initially created for his own social media use.

The collection marks a deliberate departure from Rizzle’s typically well-planned and sophisticated projects. He noted the joy in simply "minting shit for fun," especially on an L2 solution, and appreciated Barbie’s simple encouragement to "just go for it." The resulting drop is characterized by a "chill vibe" that strongly resonates with the long-term crypto community, focusing on shared experiences rather than financial complexity.

The artwork features Rizzle's PFP character placed in various meme situations that directly reference his and the community's experiences in the crypto space from "touching grass" to dealing with a market in the gutter. Rizzle explained that the selected memes were the ones that truly "hit" and resonated with what he's personally been through. This makes the collection a case of "By OGs for OGs," a humorous reflection for people who have been through the market's ups and downs for years and have no intention of leaving.

The collection serves Barbie SA’s broader concept: allowing people to express different feelings through their PFPs by providing a variety of meme options. For Rizzle, this creates a social toolkit, where images like the "brain on fire" meme perfectly capture the feeling of waking up to a controversy he warned the community about.

This accessible collection is a "democratic drop," priced at an extremely accessible 0.0025 ETH (about $7 USD), with a massive supply. The core goal is simply for the community to have something fun and simple to hold in their wallet, echoing the philosophy that not everything needs a sophisticated agenda, sometimes, it can just be "equally dumb and funny."

The collection consists of nine possible memes that are distributed via a blind reveal, which Rizzle is treating like a trading card system. He plans to incentivize the collection of all nine memes with an added bonus, pushing for the fun of collecting rather than speculation. Finally, Rizzle reaffirmed his commitment to Buildtree, praising their reliable support and knowledge base, stating he'll always return to "home court" with long-term builders like the Buildtree team.
