In a special collaboration with Song-A-Day Jonathan Mann The Gerbil Who Lost His Seeds tells the story of a gerbil who tried to hide his precious seed phrase so safely that even he could no longer find it. A cautionary tale from the NFT era about treasure, memory, and the very real pain of losing access to what matters most. The final song was created by Jonathan Mann from the winning community prompt, but the gerbil itself was always titled The Gerbil Who Lost His Seeds. NGMI was only part of the surrounding meme language and chorus, not the gerbil’s proper name.
